James William “Billy P” Parramore, Jr., age 50, of Selbyville died Thursday, February 1, 2018 at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore. He was born in Salisbury, MD January 3, 1968 and was the son of the late James William Sr. and Nancy (Kohler) Parramore. Billy grew up in Selbyville and was a 1986 graduate of Indian River High School in 1986 where he was voted most friendly. He was a very talented carpenter, owner of his own grass cutting business for many years and a jack of all trades. Billy enjoyed playing softball, horseshoes, a good game of pool, working in his garden, antique shopping and Sunday’s off with his girlfriend. He also loved his Dallas Cowboys even though he had season tickets to the Baltimore Ravens, which he loved to share with everyone. Many years ago, Billy enjoyed building a motor on Saturday and racing it on Sunday or a good game of softball with his keg buddies. He volunteered at both Selbyville and Millville Vol. Fire Departments for over 20 years combined. He believed that you do for others because you can, not because you expect to get anything from it. Even in his passing, he wished to be an organ donor and was able to fulfill this wish and in doing so continued to help others. He will be remembered for his generous nature, his incredibly infections smile, sky blue eyes and ability to give to others. Billy had many things in his life that he loved, but being a father and grandfather was the highlight in his life. He is survived by his children, Laurren Williamson and husband Matt, Rabekah Hudson and husband Bryan, W. Auston Parramore and fiancée Kalie Cooper and Camden Parramore; four grandchildren, Emilee, Matthew and Grant Williamson and Kenneth Hudson; a brother, Robert Parramore and wife Ruthie; his long-time girlfriend, Heidi Moran and his ex-wife Charlotte Magee. He is also survived by aunts, uncles and many cousins. A memorial service will be held at 1pm on Saturday, February 10 at Peninsula Community Church on Cypress Road in Selbyville with Pastor Bob Odom officiating. Friends may call on Friday evening from 5pm to 7pm at the church and on Saturday from 11am to 1pm. Burial will be in Redmen's Cemetery in Selbyville with a firefighter’s procession. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Brain Aneurysm Foundation (www.bafound.org). or a collage fund for the grandchildren’s in their names at C/O Bank of Delmarva or PayPal, (billypstrong1@gmail.com).
