Twenty-Five Years Ago Taken From The Journal of 25 Years Ago This Week Governor John G. Townsend, of Delaware, was slightly hurt and his wife, Mrs. Jennie L. Townsend, died as a result of an accident caused by their automobile upsetting while proceeding along the duPont boulevard bound for their home, at Selbyville, between 10 and 11 o'clock Saturday night. Mrs. Townsend's death is believed to have been due to shock. The car fell on Mrs. Townsend.
