Optional travel insurance is available at additional cost. ($29.00 for individual fares up to $500.00, and $59.00 for individual fares $501.00 or over).

Hopefully, we can fill all 48 cabins but after the second deposit due date the cruise agent will have to release any cabins without a deposit back to Royal Caribbean. She cannot hold cabins after the second payment due date. If a late comer comes along and wants to come on the cruise, the price will be at Royal Caribbean's prevailing retail rate.

These prices are all per person double occupancy (two per cabin). A single without a roommate would have to pay the cruise fare portion double but the port charges, taxes and gratuity would only be paid once (not double).

First deposit of $75.00 ($150 per cabin) or more due by May 1, 2009 (check or credit card)

Second payment of $175.00 or more due by June 15, 2009 (check or credit card)

Final payment is due NO LATER than Friday, July 3, 2009 (credit card only)

Please note that all deposits are fully refundable up until 59 days prior to sailing. After that, penalties apply after that.

Please note that credit cards are the preferred method of payment because if you need a refund, your card is credited immediately. Cash refunds take six to eight weeks.

PASSPORT! One of those new wallet passport cards will NOT get you back into the USA if you have to be flown back due to an emergency. So take a real passport!

ADVICE & SUGGESTIONS FOR THOSE GOING ON THE CRUISE

Hello there!

It's nearing time for your exciting class reunion with extended partying on your Royal Caribbean Cruise to the Western Caribbean on 9/14/09.

SIGNING IN: You will sign in on the 7th floor near the library past the elevators. There will be a desk with a banner mentioning our "Hialeah Reunion Group". Sign in will be from 2:00 PM-5:00 PM on Monday and if need be the desk will be available from 12:00 PM- 2:00 PM on Tuesday

DOCUMENTS - Documents should arrive approx. 3 to 4 weeks before the cruise. You will have the option of obtaining your boarding pass online or you may use the mailed documents and follow instructions.

TRANSFERS: If you purchased transfers from the airport, your transfer ticket will be enclosed with your documents.

EARLY DEPARTURE: Your ship will arrive Saturday morning at 7:00 AM. You will have breakfast on board in the main dining room if you like.IF you must depart early due to the Jewish High Holy Day, please inform the purser when you are on ship. You will have to carry your own luggage and leave your luggage with you inside your room the night before. All others will leave their locked luggage outside their door on Friday night (make sure to leave clothes out for you to wear on Saturday morning!) Make sure to have a bag to carry your clothes that you have worn overnight.

DINING: We are all listed for main dining (6:00 PM). You will be able to enjoy the nightly shows or go to the casino (while docked in port the casino and duty free shops will be closed). If you do not want main dining you have the option of going to the pizza or buffet located elsewhere on the ship. If you want specialty dining at Chops Grille you must make reservations at a cost of $30.00 per person. Personally, I like the main dining as the food is very good but Chops Grille gives you the ultimate dining experience with 5 star white glove service. It's up to you.

BEVERAGES: Unlimited soda, and fruit juice is available at a cost of $7.00 per person. You must purchase this package on your first day.

Please note: Coffee, hot tea, iced tea, fruit punch and lemonade are provided at no extra cost.

(You might want to caution those who plan to travel straight to the airport from the ship that, if they keep any liquids or gels out for that morning, they need to repack them in the luggage they plan to check at the airport before checking-in. Otherwise, these items will be confiscated by airport security, as usual. This can be a real surprise once you get in the security line – there is no place to store these items, and some perfumes or other items, for example, may be expensive. )
